Nature-Based Therapy
We all experience liminal times, whether we chose them or they choose us.

Hello love,
I’m Beth, a psychotherapeutic counsellor offering nature-based therapy — where the natural world becomes a gentle co-therapist.
Together, we walk, talk and reflect outdoors, finding clarity and calm as you reconnect with yourself.
Why Nature-Based Therapy?
Sometimes the walls around us feel too tight.
Outside, there’s space to breathe — and space to feel.
The steady rhythm of your footsteps, the sound of wind through the trees, the grounding sense of being part of something bigger… all of it helps bring you home to yourself.
Nature-based therapy offers a slower pace and a softer focus. No harsh lights, no chairs between us — just the chance to wander, pause, and notice what’s moving within you.

You are the best person I have ever spoken to about all of this & I greatly appreciate every tiny bit of you.
Who is therapy for?
Most people could benefit from exploring their inner world in therapy & there are so many reasons that you might land here.
You might be feeling:
• Overwhelmed and stretched thin, needing somewhere to exhale.
• Stuck in thought loops, knowing change is needed but unsure how to begin.
• Disconnected — from others, from purpose, or from yourself.
If any of this feels familiar, nature-based therapy can help you find your footing again — one step, one breath, one conversation at a time.
Why nature-based therapy matters
Nature mirrors our inner world — the changing seasons, the quiet regeneration, the resilience.
When we give ourselves permission to be in that space, we reconnect with our own natural capacity for growth and healing.
Therapy isn’t about fixing yourself - it’s about remembering who you are.
How We’ll Work Together
We’ll meet outside, in a beautiful woodland just outside of Lincoln.
Each session lasts 50 minutes, and you set the pace.
We might walk the whole time, or stop to sit and reflect.
We work cognitively - through conversation, reflection & silence.
Gently uncovering the reasons that you have landed in this space.
Considerately bringing them to the light, gently probing them and understanding where they’ve come from. Then, when you’re ready, deciding which can stay and which can be let go.
We work somatically - through tuning into and working with the body.
Reconnecting to our body’s innate wisdom and learning to befriend our nervous system, learning its cues.
All the while, not forgetting that we are part of nature and, just like her, we each have seasons

If affordability is a challenge, sometimes a shorter, focused block of sessions helps build therapeutic momentum and still creates meaningful change.
Things that are good to know
My style of counselling is pluralistic in nature, meaning that I draw from a wide variety of therapeutic approaches to walk with you through your journey. My preferred modality is Person-Centred - a fancy way of saying 'I follow your lead'. I love it when clients think they're going off on a tangent but they're actually allowing me an important insight.
There'll be times when I might be a little more directive but this is a safe, confidential space for you to explore your inner world - whatever that might look like.
If you’d like to see if we’re a good fit (I think the cool kids are calling it a ‘vibe-check’), shall we hop on a call?
I usually work in a term-time structure, raising a small human means that I tend to take an extended summer break, usually 4 - 6 weeks. If having a longer gap between sessions doesn't feel like a good fit for you, I completely understand and know some truly wonderful therapists I can point you in the direction of. If, on the other hand, you like the flexibility and occasional breaks - we'd be a great fit. I will always give you plenty of notice of planned breaks.
I only work with adults in my private practice - your little humans deserve the very best support they can get.
I work with clients in the UK only - this is due to both scheduling & insurance. However, you are more than welcome to get in touch regarding my other ways of working together.
I have other questions that haven't been answered here
Love an inquisitive mind. You’re more than welcome to email me at beth@bethfullerwellness.co.uk or, better still, book a chat with me and bring your question list!
